SUN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRIES LTD.
A joint test study was done with Sun Pharmaceuticals Group to study the effectiveness of SunBless Multi-Functional Coating on an RCC structure and the resultant savings in the air- conditioning load leading to savings in power consumption.
It was jointly decided to compare the energy units consumed PRE Coating v/s POST Coating over a period of 72 hours in each phase, with the air conditioner set at 17°C, Auto Cut of mode throughout the testing phase.
RESULT
Units of Energy Consumed Pre Coating – 76.105kWh
Units of Energy Consumed Post Coating – 51.587kWh
17-18°C : Reduction of average external roof Temperature was observed
13- 14°C : Reduction of average internal roof Temperature was observed beneath the roof ceiling
6°C : Reduction of average internal roof Temperature was observed below false ceiling with a gap of nearly 4 feet from the roof
32.22% : Of savings in Electricity Consumption was observed
MORDE FOODS PVT. LTD.
In partnership with Morde Foods Pvt. Ltd., we conducted a study to investigate the impact of SunBless – Multifunctional Coating on an entirely insulated refrigerated container’s power consumption.
The energy unit of the the insulated and refrigerated container was monitored pre and post coating to determine the efficacy of SunBless.
Before coating SunBless, there was already a temperature difference of 48°C on
the inside as compared to the outside because of the insulation.
RESULT
112.98kWh – average energy consumed before coating SunBless
106.99kWh – average energy consumed after coating SunBless
5.30% – of average energy saving was observed post coating SunBless on an already insulated container
DELHI METRO RAIL CORPORATION LTD.
To address water leakage issues in Mumbai Metro’s newly constructed Line 2A and Line 7 stations, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) initially installed bund walls atop the pillars to mitigate water ingress.
However, vibrations from frequent train movements led to the development of multiple cracks in these bund walls, exacerbating the problem. The issue was successfully resolved by applying SunBless coating to the bund walls.
RESULT
1 SunBless sealed all existing cracks and will prevent the formation of new cracks.
2. It provided for enhanced structural integrity and seepage prevention.
3. Each pillar has been thoroughly tested and certified after application of SunBless.
4. SunBless is now DMRC’s solution for Mumbai Metro.
SHIPPING CONTAINER
SunBless applied containers improves product shelf life and reduces perishable goods losses. Used for transporting Medicines, Wine, Vegetables, Fruits, Onions, Milk Products, Soft Drinks, Food Products, and other temperature sensitive products.
RESULT
SunBless applied containers recorded 9 to 14°C lower temperatures inside the container.
SUPERMARKET CHAIN
Supermarkets in Japan form a large and significant consumer group in the National Energy Demand. The management of Supermarket Chain in Japan decided to encourage energy efficient practices and implement a scheme for the shops nationwide, by choosing the right and best available energy efficient products.
Problems they were looking to tackle were: reduce air-conditioner usage, reduce electricity costs, water seepages through walls, reduce unwanted noise during heavy rains and control humidity to the best possible level.
RESULT
Supermarket Management minimised Air-Conditioning usage during Spring to significantly reduce cooling load. With the application of SunBless, they observed an average 62% reduction in Air-Conditioning load during Spring and over 33% load reduction during fully operational Summer conditions.
